Psoriasis Free For Life – Katy Wilson’s New Book on Natural Psoriasis Treatment
Psoriasis free for life is a bold promise and one that we all want to believe if we have Psoriasis. So does Katy Wilson the author of the book deliver?
Let me take you through the book so you can judge for yourself. I have a copy loaded up in my computer right now so let’s just go through the book and you can judge if this is for you.
Katy starts with a brief review of how Psoriasis affected her life.
Here is a quote from the book
From being a young child I’ve battled with my skin. It didn’t matter what kind of remedies my mother used, they never worked. I must have tried hundreds of them
Anyone who has had any skin problems can see how deeply her life was affected and how strongly she was motivated to research for a solution to her problems.
We all have our own reasons and some are more affected by the itching and pain of Psoriasis and some by other people’s reactions and the sheer isolation caused by embarrassment.
Having set the stage so powerfully she then dives into the guts of the book..
In Chapter Two she covers what you need to know about Psoriasis and goes into some of the medical background. Don’t worry – she doesn’t blind you with science -just enough to be clear about the problem before she covers her solutions in the following chapters.
Wilson then gives us brief chapters on Auto Immune Disease and Positive Attitude…and then she asks you to think about what you are eating. Don’t worry though, as she says on her website there is no harsh diet to wrestle with – but common sense tells you that your body is made from your food so if you have a health problem it makes sense to clean up your diet a bit.
You may have been wondering if Allergies were a cause of some of your skin problems. Katy Wilson goes over a simple test you can do at home to check whether a food is a potential allergen. As I said, it only makes sense to clean up your diet a bit. And yes she does cover detox too but there’s no emphasis on it.
Give Your Skin a Break - in this chapter she goes over a very nice method to soothe inflamed skin using a topical method. We all want something to put on inflamed skin. It seems natural to want to put on a wound or sore or Psoriasis but we don’t know what to use. Katy Wilson tried hundreds of different remedies before she stumbled on the method she uses here.
That one technique may actually be enough for you but she ramps things up next by laying out a simple easy to follow 5 step program..
This is the heart of her system
And that pretty much brings us to the end of the book. It is a very easy read and a well written book with practical things to do to help
We don’t know how old Katy Wilson is but she has poured a life time of experience into the book and it makes a compelling story of suffering and healing.
I asked at the beginning of this Book Review whether Katy Wilson delivers on her promise. After reading her book twice I would say that she does but you have to decide for yourself.
Now that you have read about her book why not visit her website and take a look for yourself?

And please let me know what you think of the book even if you don’t buy it. And of course share your opinion when you buy it and put the 5 Step Program into Action

the redness and itchiness of Psoriasis can be relieved easily by corticosteroids.:.:
my friend is a Psoriasis sufferer for several years and there seems to be no permanent cure for it. ”
True but many people do not want the side effects of steroids! And as you say Oscar, steroids alleviate the symptoms but do not cure the disease. The cure takes lots of effort to change diet and lifestyle – that’s why there is so much resistance to natural remedies – they often need lifestyle changes as well.
@NatureCureMan thanks for this, and yes I too am sick of all the treatments that just hide the symptoms rather than try to cure the disease. I’m encouraged to hear that so many people have had success by making these changes though, and I am comitted to giving it my best shot.
Jodie – one thing for sure – dealing with a stubborn beast like psoriasis needs some patience and flexibility. You might need one or 2 changes ion your diet – using hemp oil for example and that might do the trick…but you may need a whole system of juicing, carefully worked out supplements and detox. Good luck with whatever you try!
@Georgia Miller: i recommend sunlight as natural cure for it…..
nice information you have here…
my advice to all is that don’t take the information you get here for granted…..
